The English Language Training College (ELTC) provides the finest ESL (English as a Second Language) training available anywhere. Founded in 1992, ELTC is located in western Canada, in the city of Edmonton. Edmonton, the capital city of the province of Alberta, is a safe and clean city with many attractions, facilities, and the lowest living cost among metropolitan cities in North America. ELTC instructors are highly educated and very skilled in their individual fields. All are university educated and have ESL training and experience. ELTC campus, a five story building, is very centrally located in the heart of downtown Edmonton. All of our students have an access to Internet, free of charge. ELTC also offers the TOEIC exam and the ITP TOEFL exam on monthly basis.

Areas of Expertise

ESL courses at ELTC are designed to make students' learning stimulating and effective. By using contemporary textbooks, TV programs, radio programs, and newspapers, our expert teachers help students to improve their English skills. The courses focus on practical English that students can utilize immediately in their daily life or at work.

Off Campus Housing

Apartments: $400.00 (usually unfurnished) Homestay: $550.00 to $600.00 per month (three meals per day) Shared Accommodations: $350.00 to $400.00 per month (no meals, share kitchen, and bathroom)

Activities

You can enjoy various activities at ELTC. Some examples are horseback riding, BBQ, nature walk, Chili Cook Off, Santa Claus Parade, skating, bowling, canoeing, skiing, curling, swimming, and much more.

All of our students have an access to Internet, free of charge.

Campus Tour

We always welcome visitors. Feel free to come and visit us any time between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.

Other

ELTC students have many opportunities to practice English and meet a lot of people through various volunteer activities. Example: Klondike Days, Fringe Festival, The Works, and much more!
